Soiling to elaborate cover which is a pictorial stamped canvas in a design of stripes including a fairy detail on front and spine with black lettering. Pages naturally yellow from age. Spine in tact with no loose, creased, marked or torn leaves. Pages xi and xiii are missing which contained a list of illustrations and The Lore of Fairyland. Many beautiful illustrations in color, as well as simple black and white line drawings, throughout the book. A wonderful edition to any bookshelf and sturdy enough to share with your family, reading aloud to pass the time.
