"What the first little Mouse had seen and learned in her Travels.
'When I went out into the wide world,' said the little Mouse, 'I thought, as many think at my age, that I had already learned everything; but that was not the case.'" - p 159. Soup on a Sausage Peg, Andersen's Fairy Tales
512 pages. In GOOD condition considering age. Which means this is a legible copy with minor signs of deterioration from its long life. Like shelf wear, fading to gold gilt on spine, scuffing of the cover, yellowing of the leaves. Minor tearing of the leaf edges. Spine is split at first page. Spine remains in tact with no loose leaves but must be handled gently. Has that nostalgic and sweet, old-book odor. A personal favorite from my own collection.
